    Hi Michele Keller,

I am writing a story in third person omniscient POV. There is a line in my story I wrote. It sounds good for the story, but I wasn’t sure if it were actually character POV or Author Intrusion. After reading your excellent artical on the subject, I was wondering if you could tell me if what I am describing is one or the other.

Here is my example: Jason had it all; money in the bank, beautiful wife, a house on the hill. Everything was perfect. Or was it?

The line, ‘Or was it?’ confuses me because it could mean the narrator is alluding to something which is going to happen, or it could be describing the characters internal feelings. Just thought you might know a bit more about this. Thanks so much.
